Autumn has cast its golden glow over the Onsernone Valley, and it's simply magical.

The days may be shorter, but they’re filled with warm sunshine, crisp air, and blue skies. Vibrant reds, deep golds, and the last shades of green clinging to the hillsides. It’s the kind of season that invites you to slow down, take a deep breath, and soak it all in.

Hiking through the valley right now is a dream. The cooler temperatures make every trail more inviting, whether you're strolling through chestnut forests or climbing up to panoramic viewpoints. Every path leads to quiet places perfect for contemplation!
And let’s not forget the food. Local restaurants are celebrating the harvest with delicious 0km meals, filled with the flavors of the season: chestnuts, mushrooms, polenta, and game choices. It’s just comforting to enjoy a meal and a glass of local wine overlooking the colorful mountains.
Then, after some nice hikes, and a hearty meal there is the perfect excuse to cozy up indoors. Whether it’s reading by the window or gathering around a table for a game of cards, autumn in the Onsernone Valley invites you to reconnect with nature, with others, and with yourself.

No crowds, no rush, just time. Time to enjoy the valley at its most beautiful.
So if you’re looking for a quiet escape this fall, the Onsernone is waiting!!!
